This is so interesting! I like how you described how you sourced your data since I didn’t even know they released that information. The Minnesota/Toronto having the most rotating of the teams and still having a strong offense is really interesting, I guess it goes to show how strong everyone is!

The parity in this league is definitely like nothing we've ever seen before, and I definitely think a big part of how Minnesota and Toronto have thrived is strong coaching that has quickly defined roles for each player. With how few roster spots there are, you have people who played top line roles most of their elite hockey career transitioning to third/fourth line roles and taking more defensive starts and jobs than they have previously. The quicker you integrate players into those new roles and define them, the more you trust them with minutes.
